摘要: Abstract Driver distraction is a significant source of motor-vehicle accidents. This chapter begins by presenting framework for conceptualizing the different sources driver associated with multitasking. Thereafter, primary focus on cognitive stemming from use cell phone while driving. We present converging evidence establishing that concurrent significantly increases risk accident. Next, we show using induces form inattention blindness, where drivers fail to notice information directly in their line sight. Whereas cell-phone crash risk, passenger conversations do not. also real-world interference cannot be practiced away and conclude considering individual differences multitasking ability. Although vast majority individuals perform this dual-task combination without impairment, small group “supertaskers” can, discuss neural regions support
