摘要: Ardipusilloside I (ADS-I) is a natural compound that can be isolated from the Chinese medicinal herb Ardisiapusilla A.DC, and has been reported to inhibit growth of glioblastoma cells in cultures. This study was designed test its efficacy by delivery using biodegradable implants against vivo. ADS-I incorporated into polymer microspheres, which were prepared mixture poly (D, L-lactic acid) L-lactic-co-glycolic polymers then fabricated wafers. The anti-glioma activities ADS-I-loaded wafers examined methylthiazol tetrazolium (MTT) assay cultured rat C6 glioma cells, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) survival monitoring glioma-bearing rats. Here, we showed sustained release vitro for 36 days Higuchi model kinetics, had same cytotoxic activity as solution In rats, wafer inhibited tumor dose-dependent matter, more effective than dosage solution. suppression efficacies positively correlated with an increase cell apoptosis prolonged animal survival, associated decrease vascular endothelial factor, C-reactive protein, necrosis factor-α interleukin-6, interleukin-2 expression. conclusion, this demonstrates significant local vivo, suggesting potential treatment.
