摘要: AbstractContext: Longitudinal integrated clerkships (LIC) are widely used as an educational method, particularly in rural areas. They good for facilitating hands-on learning and deep relationships between student, patients, supervisors.Objectives: This study sought to examine compare experience of third-year medical students studying specialties (women’s health, aged care, child adolescent heath, mental general practice) by either a traditional hospital-based rotation or LIC practice setting.Methods: Data was collected from two groups (LIC; hospital-based) over academic years, utilizing focus investigate experiences living rurally, within the different models.Results: Results reaffirmed that there no perceived disadvantage medicine rurally.
