The aim present prospective randomized study was evaluate efficacy lidocaine hydrochloride gel compared dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) with rigid cystoscopy. Materials and Methods: Male patients requiring 17F were eligible inclusion this study. A total 140 divided into two groups: group 1 (n = 70) received approximately 11 mL 2% intraurethrally, while 2 10 40% DMSO an amount equal that smeared around scope external urethral meatus. penile clamp placed 15 minutes 5 2, respectively.
