摘要: When applied to young nondormant embryos of sunflower (Hellanthus annus) (7-10 day[s] after pollination [DAP]), abscisic acid (ABA) inhibited germination as long it was present. However, whatever the dose used and duration its application, ABA unable induce dormancy because transfer treated control (without ABA) medium, occurred. Thereafter, exogenous became effective allowed develop in 13 17 DAP embryos, i.e. which isolation were still able germinate high percentage. After embryo well established (21 DAP), application fluridone occur very quickly on medium. Isolated dormant axes also induced by an fluridone. Radioimmunological analysis showed that 24 hours these treatments, endogenous levels drastically reduced axes. fluridone-treated cultured again present but occurred soon transferred Such behavior suggested situ synthesis is necessary impose maintain dormancy.
