摘要: OBJECTIVES To evaluate if the immunofluorescence analysis of synovial tissue (ST) using antibodies against RANKL/OPG, conjugated with immunophenotyping lymphocytes and macrophages, could be diagnostic prognostic value in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. METHODS 3-year prospective study 103 consecutive patients submitted to closed needle biopsy for purposes. ST was analyzed routine histologic techniques immunofluorescence, monoclonal RANKL, OPG, CD163, CD68, CD4, CD8, interferon-gamma CD19. Patients were prospectively evaluated a clinical, laboratorial radiological protocol. At end follow-up divided according final diagnosis. Results initial evaluation compared between main groups RA data correlated clinical radiologic outcome measures. RESULTS The RANKL/OPG ratio inflammatory infiltrate significatively higher (n = 25) as same observed other joint diseases (OIJD, n 48) osteoarthritis 17). difference OIJD specifically confirmed when comparison involved spondyloarthropathy 26). Final HAQ score density intimal CD68+ macrophages. Radiologic progression subintimal CD4+ macrophages CD68 CD163+ CONCLUSION quantification number might useful differentiate from diseases. are probable predictors
