QoS-Aware Multi-RAT resource allocation with minimum transmit power in multiuser OFDM system

摘要: A novel analytical framework of multiple radio access technologies (Multi-RAT) communication system is proposed where a small cell serves K mobile users via IEEE 802.11 Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) and 3GPP Long Term Evolution (LTE) technologies. scheduler at the in order to minimize total transmission power subject quality service constraints on rates. An optimal solution resulting nonconvex optimization problem reach value by solving group convex problems using iterative algorithm. Furthermore, offloading scenario considered each user assigned either WLAN or LTE two steps proposed. The first step finds user-to-RAT assignment while second allocates resources users. Numerical simulations are presented demonstrate superior performance Multi-RAT scheduling schemes (saving 43% power) compared conventional Single-RAT system.
