摘要: With the interworking between a cellular network and wireless local area networks (WLANs), an essential aspect of resource management is taking advantage overlay structure to efficiently share multi-service traffic load interworked systems. In this study, we propose new sharing scheme for voice elastic data services in cellular/WLAN integrated network. Admission control dynamic vertical handoff are applied pool free bandwidths two systems effectively serve improve multiplexing gain. To further combat cell bandwidth limitation, calls served under efficient service discipline, referred as shortest remaining processing time (SRPT). The SRPT can well exploit heavy-tailedness call size utilization. An accurate analytical model developed determine appropriate threshold so that properly distributed WLAN, into account conditions characteristics. It observed from extensive simulation numerical analysis significantly improves overall system performance.
