摘要: In this paper we investigate multi-service load bal- ancing mechanisms in an overlay heterogeneous WiMAX/WLAN network through vertical handover. Considering the service char- acteristics of together with requirements different applications, all streaming applications are served WiMAX while elastic distributed to and WLAN. Two balancing compared which switch application maximum (MAX) minimum (MIN) remaining size respectively Simulation results indicate that MIN outperforms MAX at cost significantly increased number actions. Furthermore, it is discovered both granularity proper integration determine whole system performance.
