Posterior synechiae in intercapsular cataract surgery.

摘要: Sixty-eight patients (76 eyes) who had undergone standard intercapsular cataract extraction and posterior chamber lens implantation were reviewed for the presence of synechiae between anterior capsule remnants iris. Thirty-five eyes (46%) such synechiae, characteristics which are described. Risk factors development in this type surgery include intraoperative trauma, postoperative inflammation, size capsulectomy.
