摘要: Surface properties play an important role in the functioning of a biomaterial biological environment. This work describes influence changes that occurred on diamond-like carbon (DLC) and polymeric substrata by different nitrogen ammonia plasmas treatments its effects cell proliferation these materials. All were additionally subjected to effect neutral beams atoms NH species for comparison purposes. Results about proliferation, viability, morphology fibroblasts correlated with surface chemical composition, tension, topography. It was found presence amine groups tension are beneficial factors growth. roughness DLC also plays positive favoring adhesion but it can be detrimental some treated polymers because accumulation low molecular weight fragments formed as result plasma treatments. Analysis overall results each type material allowed define unique parameter called 'factor merit' accounting characteristics deployment, which used predict qualitatively efficiency
