摘要: A new perfusion technique has been developed for the study of net water transport across intestinal epithelium in vivo. The lumen an isolated segment is steadily perfused with a solution known composition closed system reservoir large enough to prevent recirculation. may be enclosed plethysmorgraph. Changes volume recorded by transducer coupled recirculating via T-tube. If no motility occurs, changes reflects epithelium. quantitative comparison this convention polyethylene glycol method revealed significant difference. plethysmorgraphic also makes it possible quantify absorption lymph and blood.
