摘要: The Seattle Police Department (SPD) recently enhanced their response to individuals in behavioral crisis through a pilot Crisis Response Team (CRT) consisting of dedicated Intervention (CIT) officers (OFC) paired with Mental Health Professional (MHP). This study presents results an incident-based descriptive evaluation the SPD's CRT program, implemented from 2010 2012. purpose was determine value-added by MHP cases involving as well effectiveness program regard resolution time, repeat contacts, and referral services. Data were collected SPD general offense supplemental reports for 12-month segment program. Key variables included incident location, case clearance, linkages services, disposition. Results analyses are presented implications future development OFC/MHP partnership discussed.
