摘要: Background: Systemic contact dermatitis commonly occurs with the intake of rhus (boiled chicken rhus) as a health food and folk medicine to cure gastrointestinal diseases in Korea. Rhus companies insist they have technology for detoxification. However, numbers systemic allergic patients, caused by rhus, not decreased. The principle present techniques detoxification is induction polymerization urushiol, but polymerized urushiol may still antigenicity, although diminished degree. Korean Food Drug Administration (KFDA) has regulation control use food. laboratory method that KFDA uses detection can only detect monomer. Objective: We conducted experiments products, which were considered include KFDA. Methods: product approved was separated chloroform. chloroform fractionation accomplished on recycle HPLC system. Four peaks achieved evaporated give an amorphous powder. Each powder analyzed NMR system mass spectrometer. Results: material be dimer, 638 molecular weight (MW), detected one four powders per peaks. Conclusion: concluded commercially available comprised dimer. Therefore, even if antigenicity products low, this cause adverse effects completely detoxified. (Ann
