摘要: Rapidly growing mycobacteria of clinical significance were identified by mycolic acids detected with high-performance liquid chromatography. Mycolic from whole cells extracted, derivatized, and a modified chromatography procedure in less than 3 h. Use an internal standard allowed differentiation Mycobacterium chelonae fortuitum comparison relative retention times. Peak height ratios used for subidentification M. strains; however, smegmatis could not be separated this system.
