摘要: The rise in popularity of composite materials has brought to light the necessity analysing exhibiting kinematic constraint directional inextensibility. Numerical phenomena associated with analysis such hyperanisotropic are described herein. include: element locking dependent on fibre orientation, spurious tension modes and difficulties elements possessing large material parameter ratios. To facilitate present description, these compared to, contrasted well-documented problems incompressible or nearly media. Based results eigenvalue analyses, satisfying Babuska-Brezzi condition for media found perform rather poorly when materials. These findings supported by a simple example.
