摘要: The regions and conditions in which the Saha equation can be applied to cathodic plasma of a vacuum arc are examined. Considering relaxation times ionisation recombination, it is found that frozen state due rapid expansion for r>or approximately=(10-100) mu m, where r distance from cathode spot. As consequence electron density all ion densities should proportional r-2. parameters accessible experimental investigations (r>100 m) result strongly non-ideal This opens new approach investigate plasmas by comparatively simple methods.
