摘要: Lipids are necessary for every step in the replication cycle of hepatitis C virus (HCV) and dengue (DENV), members family Flaviviridae. Recent studies have demonstrated that discrete steps cycles these viruses can be inhibited by pharmacological agents target host factors mediating lipid synthesis, metabolism, trafficking, signal transduction. Despite this, targeting metabolism trafficking as an antiviral strategy blockade entire pathways may limited due to toxicity. Knowledge molecular details structure function mechanisms whereby specific lipids generated trafficked relevant sites enable more targeted strategies without global effects on cell. In this review, we discuss critical HCV DENV highlight potential areas anti-viral development. This review article forms part a symposium flavivirus drug discovery Antiviral Research.
