摘要: Das menschliche Genom enthalt nur zu etwa 2% proteincodierende Gene, auf die sich medizinische Forschung der letzten Jahrzehnte masgeblich konzentriert hat. Da aber bis 70% des humanen Genoms in RNA transkribiert werden, das weit mehr nichtcodierende Information, als (ncRNA) Zelle vorliegen. Viele dieser ncRNAs sind stark exprimiert, spezifisch reguliert und evolutionar konserviert, was fur ihre funktionelle Bedeutung spricht. Die microRNAs bekanntesten ncRNAs, daneben existieren jedoch viele andere, lange ncRNAs. Differenzielle ncRNA- oder microRNA-Expressionsmuster korrelieren vielen Tumorentitaten mit Diagnose Prognose konnen daher umfangreiche Quelle neue Biomarker dienen. Expression langen ncRNA MALAT1 ist Lungen-, Brust- Leberkrebs assoziiert Entstehung Tumors, Tumorprogression dem Uberleben. Funktionell aktive erlauben Einblicke Entstehungsmechanismen von Tumoren. Summe verschiedenen, oft noch unbekannten lasst wichtige Entdeckungen Impulse Diagnostik, Prognostik Therapie vieler Erkrankungen erwarten.
