摘要: Summary: One hundred and twenty-seven patients were studied prospectively for aerobic, anaerobic fungal burn wound infections. All cases yielded organisms on culture. A total of 377 isolates recovered (239 aerobes, 116 anaerobes 22 fungi). Aerobic bacteria alone present in 49 (38.6”/0). Anaerobic four (3.2%). Candida sp. was one patient (0.8%). Mixed aerobic and/or fungi 73 (575%). Fungi isolated from 21 (23.9%) 88 having cultures. The predominant descending order frequency were: Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus auyeus, Bacteroides sp., Klebsiella PeptostFeptococcus There 70 (55.1%) infected with bacteria. rate recovery higher open dressings (72.7%) than occlusive (41.7%), (PCO.01). Seventeen presented septic shock, 15 them (88.2%) yielding positive 14 the who had infection alone. These results indicate a significant role sepsis.
