摘要: Purpose It is crucial to obtain a specific diagnosis before treatment of chest pathology initiated. The purpose the study present utility percutaneous biopsies, core and fine-needle aspiration, in various thoracic lesions, related complications. Material methods A total 593 transthoracic biopsies were performed Department Radiology between 2013 2016. Fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) (CB) implemented. procedures divided into four groups according location pathology: lung lesions (LL - 540), mediastinal masses (MM 25), wall tumours (CWT 13), pleural (PL 15). lesion group was two subgroups: nodules infiltrations. All analysed respect diagnostic accuracy, pathological findings, complication rate. Results Pathological confirmed 447 cases after all procedures. sensitivity malignancy 75% for FNAB 89% CB. other groups, where CB preferable technique, counted infiltration, masses, tumours, amounted 83.3%, 90.9%, 100%, 85.7%, respectively. In most commonly (79%), while infiltration benign processes dominated (83%). There no statistical difference pneumothorax rate FNAB. Haemoptysis appeared more often Conclusions are useful, safe, sensitive tools work-up. They can both be used diagnose almost pathologies.
