摘要: A 64-year-old female patient presented with a 16-year history of persistent dry cough that was undiagnosed after workups at several healthcare facilities. The denies wheezing, shortness breath or sputum production. Previous include chest imaging, transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE), laryngoscopy, spirometry and bronchoscopy, all which were unremarkable. During her current evaluation, ordered again for the patient, showed post-bronchodilator improvement in FEV1 by 13%, strongly suggestive asthma. started on pharmacological therapy severe asthma, led to sustained symptomatic per evaluation follow-up 2 months.
