Measuring atomic moment and magnetic order through magnetic linear dichroism with angular dependence studies of transition-metal alloys

摘要: Magnetic linear dichroism measurements allow the measurement of atomic moments and spin order in alloy magnetic systems with chemical specificity surface sensitivity. The width spectrum is a measure moment via local exchange, while amplitude elemental contribution to dipole selection rules. An analytical method has been introduced accurately systematically determine compare different systems. Bcc fcc binary alloys have compared, it found that independent crystal structure undergoes no collapse moment, parameter collapses at $\mathrm{NiFe}$ invar transition, as expected. Changing tracked changing composition, along changes easy axis Curie temperature, are track Slater-Pauling curve.
