摘要: The foxa regulatory gene is of central importance for endoderm specification across Bilateria, and this lies at an essential node the well-characterized sea urchin endomesoderm network (GRN). Here we experimentally dissect cis-regulatory system that controls complex pattern expression in these embryos. Four separate modules (CRMs) cooperate to control different spatial domains endomesoderm, times. A detailed mutational analysis revealed inputs each modules. dynamic regulated by a combination repressors, permissive switch, multiple activators. mathematical kinetic model was applied study response transient inputs. This shed light on mesoderm–endoderm fate decision provides functional explanation, terms genomic code, temporal key developmental gene.
