摘要: Abstract Recent results on Limited Geiger-mode Microcell Silicon Photodiode (LGP) are described. Two new modifications of LGP have been designed and produced. Each them consists 104 pixels 10×10 μm 2 size with area 1 mm . These operate as an independent photon counters, giving the output signal a sum signals from fired by photons. The effective “gain” is large (≈105). efficiency visible light detection few percents has measured. Low-temperature dark rate dependence studied. timing at level 100 ps (FWHM) was found.
