摘要: The effect of organic or conventional feeding on the immune response pigs was determined using housing in a pig fattening unit. experimental design involved four pens animals per and diet combination (organic nutrition; nutrition nutrition). IgM, IgA IgG responses against intramuscularly injected bovine thyroglobulin were as indicators antigen-specific responsiveness. Some general health welfare related parameters evaluated by measuring haptoglobin concentrations at selected times; blood lactate concentration measured slaughter. Conventional led to higher three weeks after first immunisation. Organic lower slaughter, indicating stress resistance these pigs. No major differences between two types found. We conclude that following either an are comparable, whereas can increase slaughter compared housing.
