Self-rated Health and Internet Addiction in Iranian Medical Sciences Students; Prevalence, Risk Factors and Complications.

摘要: Introduction: Self-rated health is a brief measure for general health. It comprehensive and sensitive index prediction of in future. Due to the high internet usage medical students, current study designed evaluate self-rated (SR H) relationship with addiction risk factors students. Methods: This cross sectional conducted on 254 students Qom University Medical Sciences 2014. Participants selected by two stage sampling method including stratified simple random sampling. The Young’s questionnaire SR H question used data collection. Chisquare, t-test, logistic regression analysis. Results: More than 79.9% reported their good very good. student’s mean score was higher average. In addition, prevalence 28.7%. An inverse significant correlation observed between (r=-0.198, p=0.002). Using Entertainment, using private Email chat rooms were most important predictors affecting addiction. Moreover, increased odds bad H. Conclusion: population but faculty’ lower others. effect SRH increasing trend use as well low age participants, attention psychological aspects job expectancy future, can effective SRH.
