摘要: Abstract This article discus about the small strain shear modulus G max and wave velocity vs of coarse-grained soils, depending on their state parameters such as void ratio e. Bender elements installed in a triaxial apparatus were used technique for measuring properties soil tested. are basic evaluations responses due to seismic/dynamic loading descriptions non-linear behaviour wide range strains. The current designs shallow foundations (settlement, bearing capacity) discussed. review this topic includes previously published empirical equations description measurement techniques bender evaluation. Sand from Danube locality Győr was chosen testing. A general material is given. time domain evaluation tests. Various input signals frequencies used. samples tested vacuum confinement. results compared with proposed reviewed literature. Some issues testing method sample preparation observed during type frequency signals, methods interpretation test results, discrepancies analysed. Finally, authors arrive at conclusions laboratory effect consequently confirmed.
