摘要: Cyclin D1b is one of two proteins translated from cyclin D1 transcripts (isoforms a and b) that are generated due to gene polymorphism. Our previous study has reported low expression in cervical cancer tissue, with an level moderately or poorly differentiated tissues was significantly lower than well-differentiated tissues. However, the functional role remains be elucidated. In this study, using cell line stable D1b, we found upregulation initiated cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase induced apoptosis, thereby inhibiting proliferation colony formation. Furthermore, xenograft transplantation experiments nude mice demonstrated inhibited growth induce apoptosis vivo. conclusion, present indicates anti-tumor effects cancer, suggesting may represent potential therapeutic target for cancer.
