Entrepreneurs' self-reported health, social life, and strategies for maintaining good health.

摘要: Objectives: This study investigated the association between self-reported good health and self-valued social life. An additional aim was to examine entrepreneur's strategies for maintaining health. Methods: The design included a two-wave questionnaire, with five years surveys (2001 2006), qualitative interviews. group consisted of 246 entrepreneurs from central region Sweden represented ten different trades. Entrepreneurs reporting in both 2001 2006 were compared poor on occasions or inconsistent answers. Six strategically chosen interview study. Results: Consistent reported by 56% entrepreneurs. Good life associated an increased odds ratio (OR) consistent when analyses adjusted physical work conditions job satisfaction (OR 2.12, 95% CI 1.07-4.17). Findings leisure time, weekly moderate exercise, rating being less equally important as other areas, similar but not statistically significant considered analyses. Strategies planning control over work, flexibility at contact family, friends entrepreneurs, regular exercise. Conclusion: demonstrated small-scale enterprises.
