摘要: In order to test the performance of bacterial cellulose/polycaprolactone composite (BC/PCL) and pure cellulose (BC) as tissue substitutes in rabbits' cornea, a superficial ulcer containing 5mm diameter 0.2mm deep was made right cornea 36 rabbits, then interlayer pocket created from basis this ulcer. Twelve rabbits received BC/PCL membrane 12 were treated with BC membranes, both membranes 8mm diameter. The remaining no constituting control group. animals clinically followed up for 45 days. Three each group euthanized at three, seven, 21, days after implantation histological examination along implant. Clinical observation revealed signs moderate inflammatory process, decreasing day 20th implanted groups. Histology showed absence epithelium on fibroplasia close implants, lymph infiltrate giant cells, collagen disorganization, predominance immature fibers groups implants. Although response is acceptable, used does not satisfactorily played role substitute during study period.
