摘要: Blood-brain barrier (BBB) genomics enables the rapid discovery of novel transporters that are expressed at brain capillary endothelium. The BBB potential conduits to therapeutic drugs may use gain passage across BBB. Due small volume occupied by endothelium (10(-3) parts brain), it is necessary build a program separate from whole-brain analysis. It estimated approximately 15% all genes selectively encode for transporter proteins, and only 50% currently known. development could lead invention new approaches solving drug delivery problem.
