摘要: Theoretical studies of the structure and function ion channels are reviewed, with emphasis on underlying physical phenomena. Nerve muscle membranes exhibit behavior interpretable as ferroelectric: Studies show that conformational transitions in voltage-dependent can be understood terms from a ferroelectric state to superionically conducting state. The ferroelectric-superionic transition hypothesis is supported by observations voltage-gated conduction, surface charge, hysteresis, pyroelectricity, piezoelectricity, temperatures Curie-Weiss these channels.
