摘要: Cement calciners are pyroprocessing units found in modern cement plants. Inside of them occurs a strong endothermic reaction known as the calcination process, and combustion pulverized solid fuels. Controlling mixing limestone fuel particles is particular importance because it directly affects energy consumption. The paper analyzes impact an axial swirl burner on particles, pollutant emissions operating conditions newly designed calciner. All necessary numerical models were developed implemented into commercial computational fluid dynamics code FIRE, which then used for analysis. This to simulate turbulent flow field, temperature concentrations reactants products well interaction with gas phase, by solving set conservation equations mass, momentum enthalpy governing these processes. results gained simulations can be optimization calciner’s conditions.
