摘要: Preparation, characterization, and applications of a 1,10-phenanthrolinium cation (phenH(+))-sensitive potentiometric sensor are described. The incorporates liquid polymeric membrane consisting phenH-tetraphenylborate, nitrophenyloctyl ether, poly(vinyl chloride) as ion exchanger, plasticizer, support, respectively. exhibits fast Nernstian response to phenH(+) over the concentration range 6 x 10(-6)-2 10(-4) M with monovalent cationic slope 58.0+/-0.5 mV/log[phenH(+)] in acetate buffer pH 4.2. is successfully applied monitoring titration Hg(II) Cu(II) ions phen solution presence citrate buffers 4.2, Sharp inflection breaks (90-180 mV) at 1:1 (metal:phen reaction) obtained chloride thiocyanate background. This stoichiometry explained by formation insoluble [HgCl(2)(phen)], [Hg(SCN)(2)(phen)], [Cu(SCN)(2)(phen)] complexes. Optimization each effect foreign evaluated. method offers advantages adequate sensitivity, accuracy, selectivity for determination mercury copper pharmaceutical, rock, tea samples. results good agreement those using standard atomic absorption spectrometric United States Pharmacopeial methods.
