摘要: Abstract Today, large size mechanical flotation cells of 100–300 m 3 are used in rougher operation different industrial plants, Chile and worldwide. However, spite the advances fundamental research notable growing equipment size, with more complete instrumentation systems, there still a lack reliable data for modeling simulation to advance better control systems design. In this work, procedure banks, based on operating variables parameters fitted from data, is presented condensed form. Recently, new methodology describing flotation, separating collection froth zones, has been developed. A non-linear distributed model simulate circuits was developed, measurements main variables. The simulator calibrated tested using experimental at El Teniente Division, Codelco-Chile. first sensitize effect changing depth profile target variables, then find out best reject common disturbances coming into plant, considering some constraints. circuit redesigned incorporate an expert system following proposed algorithm. Several tests were performed by evaluate responses correlated series input such as feed grade, tonnage, particle distribution, solid percentage. Control alternatives discussed.
