摘要: Abstract In this paper we report the characterization of linear carbon chains encapsulated in multiwalled nanotubes by using Raman spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The are characterized strong vibrational peaks around 1850 cm −1 both frequency intensity these were found to be dependent on laser excitation energy. Furthermore, resonance was used for constructing window chains. data showed that long have lower highest occupied molecular orbital–lowest unoccupied orbital energy gaps weaker carbon–carbon bonds. Besides evidence chain, scanning microscopy/electron loss analysis nanotube cross section unambiguously show existence a 1D structure present within innermost with an unprecedented clarity compared previous reports kind system.
