摘要: Socioscientific issues (SSI) provide situations where science teachers and students analyze complex associated with ethical, political, social dilemmas, such as whether animals should be kept in zoos or plants genetically modified. During a time of increasing awareness around cultural diversity, biodiversity, ecological degradations, epistemic development is paramount helping evaluate how they frame their relationships others including nonhuman species physical environments.
