摘要: Gels exposed to stationary electric fields on the order of 0.1 1.0 V/cm were found develop pH gradients. The development these gradients appears be a relevant phenomenon in explaining phase transitions and volume changes ionic gels induced by an field. It was also that occurrence is strongly affected type concentration ions present gel. gel could classified into different categories, depending whether they counter-ions charged groups polymer network or free ions, would participate electrochemical reactions not. Using simple theoretical consideration, which takes account diffusion, drift, dissociation equilibria electroneutrality, profiles under have been evaluated compared with experimental results.
