摘要: Abstract The performance of alumina-carbon castables containing graphite flakes coated by nanosized Ca-doped γ-Al2O3 phases has been investigated in terms refractoriness under load (RUL) and oxidation resistance tests. coating characteristics its beneficial effects castable matrix have conceived water-wettability test, differential scanning calorimetry some physical characteristics. In this regard, a schematic representation proposed to elucidate sustainability the refractory mass. comparative gain also ascertained electron microscope (SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies matrix. sol–gel overcomes pitfalls including uncoated graphites should be explored for commercial utilization.
