摘要: Plasmonic nanoparticles (NPs) such as silver and gold have fascinating optical properties due to their enhanced sensitivity at a wavelength corresponding surface plasmon resonance (SPR) absorption. Present work deals with the fabrication of decorated cotton (SNDC) fibers cheap efficient point contact disinfectant. SNDC were fabricated by simple microwave assisted route. The power irradiation time controlled optimize size density (SNPs) on textile fibers. As prepared fabric was characterized for ATR-FTIR, UV-VIS diffuse reflectance, SEM TEM investigations. Size SNPs well total atoms gets increased increase from 100 W 600 W. antibacterial efficacy extracted found be more effective against Gram-negative bacteria than Gram-positive MIC 38.5 ± 0.93 μg/mL Salmonella typhimurium MTCC-98 125 2.12 Staphylococcus aureus MTCC-737, linear correlation coefficient R2 ranging ∼0.928-0.935 also observed. About >50% death cells observed through Propidium Iodide (PI) internalization after treatment concentration 31.25 μg/mL. Generation ROS free radical has been which leads cell death. Excellent Escherichia coli deactivation suggested that could used potentially safe disinfectants cleaning medical equipment, hand, wound, water preservation food beverages.
