摘要: Fragmentation effects on fl oristic biodiversity in suburban forests. The aim of the present study is to assess relationship between several woodland indicators and features forest patches, a fragmented portion north-western Italy (Lombardy). In order obtain group indicators, we chose per- ennial herbs characteristic phytosociological syntaxa Fagetalia sylavticae, Carpinion betuli Erythronio-Carpin- ion, with suitable Landolt L H index, coming from previous releves conserved area. Then analyzed richness (patch size, shape, connectivity) patches recorded Generalized linear models showed that number was positively related fragment size connectivity. Additive Models indicator nonlinear. increased until 35- 40 ha above this almost constant identifi cation threshold patch area suggests an abrupt response changing landscape features; using thresholds planning can allow quantitative estimation optimal size.
