摘要: Abstract Three different stainless steel corrugated grades (UNS S20430, S30403 and S32205) were similar welded to bars with the same composition dissimilar carbon (CS). After cleaning welding oxides by sandblasting, reinforcements embedded in mortar chlorides some of samples carbonated. Corrosion activity was monitored using corrosion potential (Ecorr) electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). 8 years exposure, anodically polarized. Visual evaluation attack performed after another additional year exposure. Similar steels offer a good durability if they have been sandblasted, except for S20430 when it is carbonated chlorides. Dissimilar are active since beginning exposure both studied conditions, but sandblasting reduces rate CS compared non-welded bars.
