摘要: Background and study aim: Cyclin D1 is a key regulatory protein in the cell cycle over-expressed many tumors, including endometrial, thyroid, urothelial, breast, brain gliomas, esophageal cancers. The main aim of present to examine expression pattern cyclin its correlation with different clinicopathological features patients colorectal camcer (CRC) from Madinah region Saudi Arabia. Patients methods: archival tumor blocks were analyzed using immunohistochemistry for over-expression 324 CRC diagnosed January 2006 December 2017, at Department Pathology, King Fahad Hospital, Madinah, Results: was absent normal mucosa, while 15% cases adenoma showed over-expression. In CRC, expressed high levels 24.1% case. No significant observed between age, gender, size, type location. However, exhibited differentiation (p=0.04), lymph node involvement (p=0.001), lymphovascular invasion distant metastasis (p=0.006) AJCC staging (p=0.001). Kaplan-Meir analysis revealed shorter period survival (p=0.000). Cox-regression model that an independent prognostic marker Conclusion: increases during normal-adenoma-carcinoma sequence. association over-expression, advanced stage short clearly suggest role carcinogenesis progression CRC.
