摘要: Peripheral neuropathies caused by exposures to the industrial solvents n-hexane and MBK exhibit strikingly similar characteristics. In in vivo studies, metabolites of identified blood urine guinea pigs were 2-hexanol (partly as g/ucuronide urine); 2,5-hexanedione which was detected only treated groups. Phenobarbital pretreatment increased urinary excretion both solvent treatment vitro hepatic reduction required cytosof fraction form 2-hexanol; whereas oxidation microsomal 2-hexanol, respectively. The biotransformation a common metabolite (2-hexanol) suggests that neurotoxic action these may be related.
