摘要: Iodine speciation plays a significant role in iodine volatilizing into atmosphere from the seas, as well serving biological indicator. Despite this importance, data on species revealed inconclusive evidence of what factors controlling transformation. We here present new profiles 129I Baltic Proper during November 2009. Along with two earlier investigations (August 2006 and April 2007), an assessment seasonal variation is presented. The results show that, due to anoxic nature Proper, presence 129IO3 − does not follow obvious cycle, case 129I−. Concentrations 129I− exhibit higher values summer than other seasons (spring winter), which might be associated degrading organic matter release sediment water column that more pronounced summer. surface three reflect function reprocessing facilities period 2007 Consequently variability seawater depends, some extent, local physical biochemical conditions.
