摘要: Fas/APO-1 (CD95) is an apoptosis-signaling receptor molecule on the surface of cells. To investigate possible role Fas during malignant transformation glial cells, we analyzed expression mRNA by reverse transcription-PCR in human astrocytic brain tumors. Expression was found 1 4 (25%) juvenile pilocytic astrocytomas (WHO grade I), 9 (11%) low-grade II), 6 12 (50%) anaplastic III), and all glioblastomas IV). Thus, frequency appears to correlate with malignancy astrocytomas. The soluble form lacking transmembrane domain detected one astrocytoma two glioblastomas.
