摘要: Abstract The objective of this paper is to investigate the deflection and fracture a clamped plate with different shapes (circular, square, rectangular) under lateral indentation by spherical indenter. A semi-analytical approach was established predict failure energy absorption up point. relationship between ratio R / 0 ( radii indenter, circular or half short side length rectangular plate) ρ intersection line which paraboloid transition into logarithmic surface) using test data. can be used for predicting determine force–displacement curve. results theoretical model compare well experimental results.
