摘要: Single crystals of yttrium phosphate doped with Eu3+ were investigated by means polarized emission and absorption spectroscopy. The spectra are consistent the known D2d site symmetry ion, most observed transitions have been assigned. energy‐level structure 7F multiplet lower part 5D has defined, former described in terms a crystal‐field model. optical parameters for such model calculated, comparisons made similar calculations on vanadate.
