摘要: Objective: To evaluate the predictive value of glutathione S-transferase (GST) gene polymorphisms for prognosis osteosarcoma patients receiving chemotherapy. Methods: A total 159 were included in our study between January 2005 and December 2007., with follow-up until 2012. Genotyping was based upon duplex polymerase-chain-reaction PCR-CTPP method. Results: At time diagnosis, 15.4% presented metastasis, while 22.3% developed metastasis during follow-up. final analysis on 2012, median 45.5 months. Patients null GSTM1 GSTT1 had a higher event free survival rate than non-null genotype, but no significant association found two genotypes osteosarcoma. Individuals GSTP1 Val/Val genotype tended to live shorter IIe/IIe we significantly risk death from (adjusted HR=2.35, 95% CI=1.13-4.85). Conclusion: The polymorphism may have an important role Further analyses larger samples more genes encoding metabolizing DNA repair enzymes are warranted.
